Anyone can make a New Year’s resolution, the difficult part is following through with it.
Common goals people will set for themselves would be to lose weight, quit smoking, save money, or spend more time with family and friends. Do you ever find that January or February rolls around and your goals have gone out the window? This is pretty common occurrence. One thing you can do is start small, set realistic goals to set yourself up for success. Sometimes jumping into a new lifestyle can be overwhelming. You want to make sure that you try to change one thing at a time, instead of trying to juggle two or three resolutions at once. Make sure you talk about your resolutions! If you want to save money and spend more time with family and friends, make sure you let them know. If they ask to go out to dinner, try suggesting a game night in to save some cash. Be sure to not beat yourself up if you slip once in a while. No one is perfect, and lifestyle changes take time. Nothing happens overnight!
